The big leaf
A fresh leaf rests on the roof, smelling faintly of mint and very sure of its job.
The jar cabinet
Each cabinet holds neat rows of jars, arranged by season so the good things are always easy to find.
The quiet chimney
A little puff rises from the chimney, the sort that means someone is making tea.
The ginger cat
A small cat sits near the door, watching the kettle through the window and hoping for cream.
The stone bowl
A wide bowl sits on the grass, ready for rain, water or whichever herb needs a bath.
